Often, even in the Season of the Goddess, we sometimes have a need for an incense with more God-energy, as we honor the ascendancy of the Forest God, or Green Man. I found that this recipe possesses the solar energy of the season, along with the life-blood energy of the greening earth.

In relatively equal parts, combine the following:

• 4 parts Cedar leaves - sacred to the God Wotan, evergreens remind us of everlasting nature of the sacred Life Force
• 2 parts Rosemary - sacred and purifying
• 1 part Benzoin - for concentration and meditation
• 2 parts Copal or Frankincense - spirituality and solar enrgy
• several drops of clove oil - fire energy
